Owner, Carlos Preston, began his construction career as a young man in Puerto Rico as a means to help provide for his sisters and father. Born in Michigan and growing up in various parts of the European and Latin American world, he was exposed to numerous different cultures, tastes, designs, and styles.  Whether it was the historic, stucco-clad homes in Spain or the bustling night scene venues of Miami, he knew could do it all– And he did!

Originating as a small painting company in Miami, Florida, Carlos had his eyes set on a bigger venture. After relocating to Nashville, Tennessee in the 80’s and starting his family with Shelley, he worked tirelessly to establish himself as a contractor. All Professional Construction was officially formed in 1994 as a small general contractor service and since that time, he has built his way to the top… Officially boasting a $3,000,000 license.

Never forgetting his own humble origins and always ensuring he adequately gives back to the community in the same way it has him, Carlos has consistently scouted and employed talent from the most underprivileged areas– simultaneously building the lives of his workers as well as his projects while instilling a “can-do” mentality and rigorous work ethic into each person he encounters.
